In May the image was then re-posted on With Leather a sports blog that has a huge male audience commenting on the beauty of 17-year-old Stokke under the headline Pole Vaulting is Sexy Barely legal. The photographer threatened to sue site owner Matt Ufford if he did not take down the image, but the article has already garnered a significant amount of interest and was posted on numerous other sites. Stokke's images of pole vaulting were uploaded to a tribute site. The images then became viral on social media, internet fan groups gained thousands of new fans.
