Dua Lipa is a English singer and musician born on August 22, 1995, from London United Kingdom. She signed a contract with Warner Bros Records after a few years of working and put out a self-titled album in 2017. The album reached 3rd place at the U.K. Albums Chart and released eight singles which included Be The One I.D.G.A.F and the U.K. top-ranked single New Rules which peaked at 6th in the United States. Lipa won her Brit Awards in the year 2018 for British Female Solo Artist, and British Breakthrough Act, and her album was certified platinum across the globe in a variety of countries. She is the daughter of Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa Rexha and Dukagjin Lipa. The maternal grandparents of her are Bosnian. Her ancestors are also identified back to Peja, the Kosovo city of Peja. The grandparents of Lipa's grandfathers were both history professors. Her siblings are Rina and Gjin. Lipa's father, the guitarist and lead singer of Kosovan band Oda has influenced her in a musical way. Lipa was just five years old when she started singing. At the age of nine, Lipa began to sing in the Sylvia Young Theater School.
