Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was thought to be one of the sport's greatest athletes. Biles was the very first American female gymnast in history to have won four gold medals during a single Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to ever win successive World All-Around championships. Biles as well as her twins Adria Biles and Ronald Biles were taken in as infants by their grandparents from Houston. Simone became interested in the sport of gymnastics as a young girl when she took a field trip for day care in Bannon's Gymnastix and stayed there for 11 years under the guidance of her trainer Aimee Boorman. Biles received a silver medal for vault and a bronze medal in floor gymnastics at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. In 2011, she began competing in elite levels of the sport. Within two years she had dominated this event.
