Michael Torres better known as Myke the Puerto Rican Rapper and Songwriter was born on the 15th of January, 1994, in Rio Piedras Puerto Rico. His name was changed in 2017 from Mike Towers, to Myke Towers. It was done in honor of Young Kingz music group of which he is a member. The i of their name has been replaced with a y. Myke Towers is a part of the underground rap scene in Puerto Rico since his adolescence making his very first songs and freestyles on his SoundCloud account. He gained acclaim in 2014 through songs such as Dia de cobro Por Mi Es Normal or En los Bloques. The urban music scene was attracted by the La Nueva Droga Freestyle, as well as his version of Drake's"0-to-100%".
