Sharp was born to Rochester, New York, Sharp was an avid musician and studied clarinet the piano, cello, and clarinet at the highly regarded Hochstein School of Music. The Boston Conservatory offered her a grant for her theatre program at the school. Cum Laude awarded Sharp a B.F.A. Sharp began her career on stage after graduating from the Conservatory. Sharp appeared in her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted Off Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. In the improv comedy Eat the Runt, she took on eight different characters. Sharp was also in Abyssinia and Aida as well as Thunder Knockin Jitney as well as The Producers. She was even a read in August Wilson's Come and Gone. Sharp is also working on other projects that she is working on as well as her productions for stage and screen. Sharp continues to sing and has a full-length album in production. Sharp she is frequently in front or behind camera and in the recording studio to record music, loves staying in shape. Sharp studies Krav Maga along with boxing. Sharp likes to play piano, walk and go on a long road trip. Sharp is a part of her family living in Los Angeles.
